Hey, I'm Enrique Martín Ocaña 👋

+3 years of experience. Software Engineer & Backend Specialist from Málaga, Spain 🇪🇸, now based in the U.K 🇬🇧 since 2018. I deliver data-intensive platforms for Aston Martin Aramco F1, blending .NET (C#), event-driven services, Azure and Kubernetes to keep race operations fast and reliable. I love translating complex telemetry into resilient products for engineers and stakeholders.

About me

My name is Enrique Martín Ocaña, but everyone calls me Quique. What I like the most about programming is the ability of brining ideas to life quickly. I love the potential it has to democratize access to information and services. I'm currently working as a Software Engineer in Aston Martin Martin F1, developing and orchestrating the different simulation tools and services.

Some of my achivements include winning the award for Best Young Software Engineer of Scotland in 2023. The award recognized my work and the potential value my dissertation EdTech project could bring to the education sector.

Away from the keyboard, you will probably find me behind the lens of a camera. I am a keen photographer and videographer, always looking to capture the perfect shot. I also enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors, which often provides great opportunities for photography.
